After a very long time, I finally finished another kit.  Go me!

That will truly be a glorious day.  In the meantime I felt like updating this journal solely for the sake of updating it.  

I haven't been on here in quite a while due to not finishing anything and being in a funk.  I'm feeling better though so maybe I'll finish something.  Maybe.

Anyway, I recently came across the Dreamkeepers comic (www.dreamkeeperscomic.com).  Online they have a prelude comic which chronicles the adventures of the characters when they were younger.  I find it cute and funny.  The main story has to be purchased and I think it was well worth the price.  I got the hard copies but a digital option is also available.  The art is great; kind of cartoon-y but not kiddy.  The colors are vibrant.  There are a lot of sparkles.  The characters are interesting and there is a lot of variety in their designs; they're not all just based on one type of animal.  I want to see what happens next.  I liked it so much I even bought a t-shirt!    Have a look.

Perhaps not the best written review ever, but I'm not much of a writer.

I kept coming on to see if there was anything new from the artists I'm watching so I figured I should put something up myself.  I'm pretty slow when it comes to building models and I didn't want things to languish.

I decided to sign up for a deviantART account mainly to see one of Adam Warren's Empowered (an excellent sexy superhero comic, by the way) pictures that was flagged as mature content.  Then I figured since I'm wasting the space, I might as well really waste the space and put up some of my artistic endeavors.  So, there you go.
